Anatolia

A vast plateau between the Black and the Mediterranean seas: in ancient usage, synonymous with the peninsula of Asia Minor; in modern usage, applied to Turkey in Asia (thank you to dictionary.com for the concise explanation).

  3. umm, is that the book I brought back for you from Greece? That's funny, at the time I must have thought Anatolia was in Greece or something. Hahahahaha. is it any good?

  4. Yep! I think the back descript tickets the book as dealing with Greek-Anatolian tensions or something, so that's probably a reason for your bringing it back. It's got some really lovely descriptions of scenes---figs at market, raisins, the light, and so on. I think you'd enjoy it.
