Another Food Roundup

These photos are of the results of several recipes tried from The Wagamama Cookbook. I have long since forgotten which recipes they are but all of them were delicious. They ended up making a massive amount of food for just the two of us, but I loved all of the vegetables! I could have continued through the whole cookbook but my husband called a halt to the madness, quite satiated with Japanese-style noodle dishes for awhile.

Another dish I tried that was instantly popular is this cauliflower alfredo sauce. I made it entirely vegan using my Earth Balance spread instead of butter and leaving out the cream. The sauce was perfect with some spinach pasta and has been repeatedly demanded ever since.

My mom has this "English muffin in a loaf" recipe that I adore and is super easy to make, but running across this recipe for actual English Muffins, calling for both skillet frying and baking, I had to take up the challenge. My muffins used homemade almond milk instead of actual milk, but they turned out pretty perfect tasting, if not looking!

And I'm anticipating by the end of this summer being able to bite into the red flesh of this little guy. So far he is still growing and has a twin, but I'm cheering them on as they gain in rotundity each week!

The Finished Quilt

I posted photos of this in progress a while ago. I had to wait until I could go home and finish the quilt on a proper frame. Now it's done!
